Barbara Gomez is vice president and treasurer of Arizona Public Service Company with responsibility for corporate finance, cash management, trust investments, investor relations and financial planning. She has been employed with APS since 1978 and has held positions in various financial and regulatory areas of the company. Gomez has served as treasurer of APS and the parent company, Pinnacle West, since 1999. Gomez earned a Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University. She is also chairman of the Diocese of Phoenix Finance Council, executive vice president of the National Association of Corporate Treasurers and a member of the ASU Foundation’s Women and Philanthropy program.
