Donate to ecademie and Receive a 2008 Arizona Tax Credit
Would you like to support the education of an Arizona youth - without it costing that won’t cost you a dime? ecademie High School, which operates under the auspices of Goodwill of Central Arizona, helps provide a quality education to youth outside the public school system, thereby increasing their opportunities for a lifetime of self-sufficiency and success.
• During 2008, ecademie High School helped more than 250 students meet their educational goals.
• In May 2008, 62 students graduated from ecademie High School’s two campuses - Eagles and Woods.
ecademie's commitment to the educational and personal growth of Arizona’s youth cannot be met without support from the community. Funding from generous community donations help provide opportunities for higher education, training in high-caliber fields or competitive employment. Help empower Arizona’s youth today through the State of Arizona Public School Tax Credit.
Help Provide Quality Educations to Arizona’s Youth Without Spending A Dime!
The State of Arizona offers a TAX CREDIT to provide financial support for extracurricular activities or character education programs in Arizona’s public schools. This tax credit allows those that qualify to take a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, up to $400, for a donation of cash to ecademie High School.
If you will have a tax liability this year, you are able to make a contribution to ecademie High School to help offset the liability amount that would be paid to the State of Arizona. In order to take advantage of the State of Arizona Public School Tax Credit, an itemization of your deductions and charitable contributions on the Arizona state income tax return will be necessary to establish a baseline year and amount. Upon the establishment of the baseline year for charitable giving, an increase of your charitable giving over your baseline year amount must be maintained. The Arizona Public School Tax Credit is different from the private school tax credit or the Arizona Assistance to the Working Poor Tax Credit, which provides assistance to charities that serve the working poor. You are eligible to receive dollar-for-dollar tax credits for all three.
Please refer to this Contribution Form or click on the link at the bottom of this page.
