Goodwill is much more than a place to simply buy a costume. It’s where you’ll discover a scary number of possibilities for creating one. You’ll find more stuff like hats, pants, scarves and new Halloween accessories, such as wigs and makeup, than you can shake a witch’s broom at. For prices that won’t cause you to run out the door like you’re being chased by a werewolf.
Starting October 1st, it’s time to put together the most creative Halloween ensemble you can get your claws on and compete in Goodwill’s annual Costume Contest. Click through the photos to get great outfit ideas using items found at Goodwill, then add a little twist of your own.
Here’s how to enter:
1. Buy any items at Goodwill and you’ll receive an “I shopped at Goodwill” sign (provided at checkout).
2. Take a photo of yourself wearing your Goodwill costume while holding the sign.
3. Email your photo to GetCreative@goodwillaz.org by midnight on 10/31/14 to become eligible to win a prize. Winners will be notified by email.
