Computer & Customer Service Training
The Computer and Customer Service training program prepares the student for employment in the clerical, financial services or customer service fields. The fast-paced curriculum consists of 120 classroom hours on the topics of computer basics, customer service, telephone service, financial services and human relations. Students also learn how to use the Internet and the basics of Microsoft Office products.
In addition to training, Workforce Development provides assistance with job placement.
Classes are held Monday-Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM at the Main Service Campus, Peoria, Goodyear and Yuma Career Centers.
This training program allows students to obtain higher paying jobs with benefits, thus providing the graduates the opportunity to financially support themselves and their families.
Furthermore, GateWay Community College has partnered with Goodwill of Central to make the CCST classes available for college credit.
For many, this is the first time they have been able to do this without government assistance. Successful employment instills pride and dignity in the persons served.
We are not simply training a person and finding them a job, we are helping them change their life.
