Rehabilitation Services
Goodwill's Rehabilitation Services Department provides a range of vocational rehabilitation services to assist persons with various disabilities to be successful in employment.
Work Adjustment Training / Pre-Job Training
The Work Adjustment Training and Pre-Job Training programs use work experience opportunities to teach the meaning, value and demands of work. Work Adjustment Training/Pre-Job Training is available in the areas of retail processing and janitorial work. To participate in these programs, you must be referred by Magellan Health Services or Vocational Rehabilitation (VR). These programs are offered at the following locations:
- 16th & Van Buren streets (Phoenix)
- 7th Street & Union Hills Drive (Phoenix)
- 67th & Peoria avenues (Peoria)
- 319 N. Lee Boulevard, Prescott (Vocational Rehab only)
- 1600 S. 4th Ave., Yuma (Vocational Rehab only)
Center-Based Employment Services
Center-Based Employment Services are for people who require more intensive supports throughout training. Center-Based Employment Services use paid work to teach the meaning, value and demands of work; services are available in the area of retail processing and janitorial work. To participate in Center-Based Employment Services, you must be referred by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
These programs are offered at the following locations:

- 7th Street & Union Hills Drive (Phoenix)
- 67th & Peoria avenues (Peoria)
- 319 N. Lee Blvd. (Prescott)
- 1600 S. 4th Ave. (Yuma)
Community Employment Services
Community Employment Services include Job Development and Placement Services to assist individuals in developing job-seeking skills and motivation to obtain and maintain community, competitive employment. Once employed, Supported Employment Services may be available to assist with job retention, work behaviors and other work related issues. Supported Employment Services may be short or long term, depending on individual need and authorized funding for services. To participate in Job Development and Placement Services, you must be referred by Magellan Health Services or Vocational Rehabilitation (VR). To be eligible for Supported Employment services, you must be referred by Magellan Health Services, Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), or the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). These services are available to individuals in Maricopa, Yavapai (Prescott) and Yuma Counties.
School to Work Transition Services
School to Work Transition Services provide work experiences and training to students with special needs. Students earn school credits while developing positive work behaviors and skills to prepare for employment. Students must be enrolled in the Phoenix Union School District, Humboldt Unified School District or Chino Valley School District to be eligible for this program. School to Work Transition Services are offered at the following locations:

- 17th Avenue & Camelback Road
- 319 N. Lee Blvd., Prescott
Projects with Industry
The Projects With Industry (PWI), grant program is a Department of Education, federally funded program focused in the areas of job readiness, job development and job placement. This program is available to individuals who are 18-64 years of age who have been diagnosed with a disability and who have been unemployed for at least 6 months. The PWI program is available to individuals in Maricopa County.
Ticket to Work
Ticket to Work is a program designed to assist individuals receiving SSI/SSDI to obtain employment. Individuals in the Ticket to Work program all have a goal of working to earn enough money so that they no longer need to rely on SSI/SSDI benefits. Goodwill provides support to locate employment, as well as support once employed. Goodwill also assists in preparing individuals to budget and plan for removal of SSI/SSDI benefits once employed. The Ticket to Work program is available to individuals in all Goodwill of Central Arizona service areas.
Group-Supported Employment
The Group-Supported Employment (GSE) program provides paid employment opportunities in a group setting (enclave). GSE services are available to individuals referred by the Division of Developmental Disabilities. The GSE program is offered at the following locations:

Situational Assessment
Short-term work assessment designed to evaluate an individual's strengths and needs prior to returning to work or other job training programs. Must be referred by Vocational Rehabilitation (VR).
