Goodwill Trucks Pick-Up New Look
Goodwill’s “street credibility” may be on the rise since two of our trucks were adorned with a modern and eye-catching look in January.
Logistics Director Bill Farrell said that the trucks are being used for a variety of operational needs including picking up donations and transporting goods to stores. The 26-foot box trucks hold a maximum of 33 blue Goodwill gaylords.
Most importantly, the trucks feature Goodwill mission messaging which will help our organization’s efforts to increase public awareness about how we impact Arizona’s communities.
“Seeing (the trucks) on the road is a big advertising boost for Goodwill Industries of Central Arizona and our mission,” said Logistics Director Bill Farrell. “I think it’s important to keep Goodwill and all the things we do fresh in people’s minds.”
Farrell said the ultimate goal is to wrap 60 additional trailers with the new look.
In the meantime, he is thrilled with the effect that the new trucks are having on his staff.
“The drivers like the idea of having a new fresh look,” said Farrell. “I feel it has given them pride and also a sense of responsibility knowing they are representing Goodwill.
