Did you know that Goodwill of Central Arizona has joined the Facebook and Twitter communities?
One of Goodwill's key goals in 2009 was to expand public awareness about our organization through social networking Websites. Our nonprofit agency is among dozens of Goodwills and millions of businesses internationally that are building online communities through Facebook and Twitter. Our social networking efforts will revolutionize the way Goodwill connects and interacts with supporters in central Arizona and throughout the world.
Social networking Websites such as Facebook.com and Twitter.com are fast becoming one of the most popular ways for millions of people to share information about their companies and/or their personal lives.
Facebook is a free Website that allows users to join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other people. People can add friends and send messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves.
Twitter is a free service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the Web, mobile phones and other devices with the exchange of quick messages.
