Goodwill Career Centers expand hours of operations to meet record demand
PHOENIX (September 5, 2008) — In order to meet the increased demand for Goodwill of Central Arizona’s career services, the nonprofit will expand the hours of four of its nine Career Centers. Partly due to changing conditions in the economy, jobseekers are requesting assistance at Goodwill’s Career Centers in record numbers.
So far this year, the Career Centers have supported more than 39,000 visits by individuals researching employment opportunities and assistance. Goodwill’s Career Centers offer a wide range of career services and employment information, such as current job openings, market information, interview techniques and more.
