The Goodwill Workforce Development team consists of credentialed, experienced committed professionals, many of whom are certified Global Career Development Facilitators (GCDF), who are dedicated to delivering quality services that are comprehensive and exemplary to youth and adults in the community.

Goodwill Workforce Development Programs & Services

At Goodwill of Central Arizona, our commitment is simple ... We Put People to Work.

Donations from the community provide our stores with products to sell. Retail revenue then supports Workforce Development programs and services that offer job training, education and career services to youth and adults seeking self-sufficiency.

Senior Community Service Employment Program

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) program serves people over 55 years of age with a priority for veterans and those over 60.

Youth Services

Giving youth an opportunity to succeed ensures a better future for everyone. Goodwill Youth Services collaborates with other community organizations and government agencies to provide employment programs for youth in central Arizona.

Rehabilitation Services

Goodwill's Rehabilitation Services Department provides a range of vocational rehabilitation services to assist persons with various disabilities to be successful in employment.

Computer & Customer Service Training

The Computer and Customer Service training program prepares the student for employment in the clerical, financial services or customer service fields. The fast-paced curriculum consists of 120 classroom hours on the topics of computer basics, customer service, telephone service, financial services and human relations. Students also learn how to use the Internet and the basics of Microsoft Office products.

Goodwill of Central Arizona has many programs geared toward providing services to the Valley's youth and adults and helping people move from welfare to work. Through these programs, Goodwill strives to empower individuals to be productive and independent.

These programs include:

Career Centers

Full-time staff is available at each of Goodwill's Career Center locations to provide assistance and guidance throughout the job search process.

Career Centers are equipped with computers, printers, Internet access, telephones, and fax machines to provide services at no cost to the community.
