For the liquid inside the jar, glycerin is what makes the snow look like it’s falling and you may already have it in your cosmetic cabinet. Add figurines or other items and decorations to the jar.
Instead of buying Christmas tree ornaments, make your own! There are tons of ways to make an ornament, including the old-fashioned popsicle stick picture frame, adding a string loop to a small stuffed animal or good old-fashioned construction paper.
Faux holiday garland can be pricey, but it’s not necessary to make your home look festive. Find natural stems in your yard or go on a walk around your neighborhood. Place a large bundle of stems or white Christmas lights in a clear glass vase you found at Goodwill for a pretty recycled centerpiece.
