Goodwill of Central And Northern Arizona Completes Merger with Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley, Inc.


PHOENIX, Ariz. and FREDERICK, MD. – July 15, 2020 – Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona and Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley jointly announced today that the merger was approved by their board of directors and Goodwill Industries International, Inc.  The two organizations will combine operations effective immediately.

“We are very excited to leverage our resources and strengthen our collective impact to help more people in Arizona and Maryland,” said Tim O’Neal, president and CEO of Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona.  “Our goal is to help more people get back on their feet and back to work.”

The two organizations will merge into one entity under a joint name in the near future, but until that time they will maintain their individual names in each market.

Tim O’Neal, President and CEO of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona will take over as leader for the merged organizations.

The joint organization will now operate nearly 100 stores, one clearance outlet, seven career centers and seven self-service kiosks, a large eCommerce presence, Veterans initiatives and employ over 4,200 team members throughout the Phoenix metro area, Prescott, Yuma, Flagstaff, Sedona, Cottonwood, Kingman, Lake Havasu, Bullhead City, Carroll County and Frederick County, Maryland.
