Onboard software automatically tracks the volume of donated goods, sending an automated notification when nearing capacity for swift and efficient donation collection. Containers are fully managed and maintained by Goodwill, while also providing reliable data tracking for municipalities and organizations focused on their sustainability and waste diversion goals. Donation chutes measure approximately 1.5ft by 2.5ft, and can accommodate clothing items, small housewares, toys, shoes, and books.
Designed using upcycled shipping containers and powered by solar energy, these reimagined donation containers are secure, autonomous, and can be placed almost anywhere without relying on power grid connectivity. Their flexibility makes the collection and diversion of usable goods easily accessible, extending the life cycle of materials and promoting a circular economy through reuse and recycling.
