Resource Recycling, Inc., Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona, and Secondary Materials and Recycled Textiles announce partnership for the upcoming Textiles Recovery Summit in San Diego, California February 23-25, 2026. Local support provided by the California Product Stewardship Council.

Portland, OR — Resource Recycling, Inc. is excited to announce Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and Secondary Materials and Recycled Textiles Association (SMART) as partners with support from the California Product Stewardship Council (CPSC) for the Textile Recovery Summit, taking place February 23–25, 2026, in San Diego, California.

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, diverts millions of pounds of donated materials from landfills while helping people access better-paying jobs and build stronger futures. SMART, an international trade association, represents the for-profit textile recycling industry, providing a forum for networking, education, and advocacy. Together, they bring complementary perspectives to the Summit, helping shape the conversation and ensure textile recovery has a central stage in the U.S. materials recovery conversation. The Summit will also receive local support from CPSC as thought leaders and experts on Product Stewardship and the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) movement.

“Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is proud to partner with the Textile Recovery Summit to help shape this year’s programming and continue to build the Goodwill network’s positioning in the wider sustainability space,” said Beth Forsberg, Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer for GCNA. “As the collector and sorter for a wide range of materials, including textiles, plastics, and more, Goodwill plays a critical role in advancing material recovery and circularity. As the value chain process continues to evolve, we look forward to engaging with key industry stakeholders and contributing to the critical transition and opportunities ahead.”

“SMART is proud to partner with the Textile Recovery Summit at a moment when textile circularity is rapidly advancing. Our members have been driving innovation in reuse and recycling for decades, and this summit brings the entire value chain together to accelerate real progress. We look forward to contributing our industry expertise and helping build the systems, partnerships, and market pathways needed to strengthen textile recovery in the United States and beyond,” said Cameron Curtis, CMM, CAE, SMART’s Executive Director.

The three-day Summit features workshops on textile sorting, grading, and waste recovery, interactive live demonstrations, and debates.

Registration also includes access to the concurrent Resource Recycling Conference and Plastics Recycling Conference, with opportunities to connect with over 3,000 industry leaders and 250+ exhibitors between the three.

Register today to join Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona, SMART, Resource Recycling, Inc., and CPSC in shaping the future of textile recovery. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available.
