We Accept Almost Everything!

You heard it here first. We will take your donations! Don’t shy away from bringing a bag of donations to Goodwill if it’s on your mind or left in your trunk. While some items are generally more “accepted” than others, we won’t say no and turn you away. If there is something we can’t sell, we have recycling partnerships like Dell Reconnect to help us responsibly recycle. Let’s take a look at what kinds of items we will gladly accept:

• Clothing – Hand-me-downs can go a long way!
• Furniture – A wooden stool, a lightly used sofa, or ottoman.
• Electronics – An alarm clock, a nightlight, or a desk lamp. Better if they still work, too!
• Appliances – A hair dryer, a toaster, or a vacuum, for example.
• Books – If it has all of the pages, someone else can read it!
• Bedding – Think of lightly used bed sheets, blankets, or pillow cases.
• Vehicles – That’s right! You can donate your car and get a tax receipt.
• And more – The above are just a few of the common items that many people donate.

This list doesn’t include everything we’ll take (there’s more!). If you aren’t sure, just bring it to us and we’ll take care of it.

• Retail Donation Centers (Goodwill Xpress) – Donation-only locations for your convenience
• Monitored Container Bins – Easily drop off smaller items in monitored bins with 24/7 video surveillance for your safety
• Donation Bins – For smaller items
• Home Pickup through our preferred partner, ReSupply – Donate from home
