We just expanded our retail store hours to 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM to make more time for you to find your unique treasures. Goodwill store hours can vary by location, so it’s always recommended to check your local store’s listing before you visit.

Updated hours are designed to:

• Make donating easier for busy schedules
• Give shoppers more flexibility throughout the week
• Improve staffing and donation processing efficiency

Donation Hours vs. Store Hours: What’s the Difference?

One of the most common questions Goodwill receives is whether donation hours are the same as store hours. The answer: yes.

Donation Drop-Off Hours

Donations are accepted when the stores are open (8:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily). Important reminder: Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona does not condone illegal dumping. Please do not leave donations unattended, after hours. 

Leaving items outside a closed donation door, at a store entrance, or next to a building is not permitted. However, you can always drop your donations off at one of our donation bins. These bins are clearly marked and accept smaller-sized donations. You can find the closet bin to you on our location page.

Only donate items that fit completely inside the bin. If your items are larger, we recommend you bring them during donation drop-off hours.

Holiday Hours: What to Expect

Holiday schedules can differ from regular store hours, and some locations may operate on reduced hours or close entirely. Because holiday schedules are finalized closer to each holiday, the best way to confirm whether Goodwill stores are open on holidays is to:
