Donating to your local Goodwill has never been easier. There are now more Goodwill donation centers for you to donate to than ever before! Thanks to your donations and your goodwill, you help individuals find a job, and together, through the support of our no-cost career services, we are preparing individuals to achieve self-sufficiency. This helps us to carry on the Goodwill legacy as we work toward ending poverty through the power of work.
We never turn down donations and will happily sort and sell just about anything you bring in (besides unsellable hazardous materials). Without your generous donations, our organization wouldn’t be able to exist, so once again, thank you! To get a better feel for items to donate, view our expanded list!
Got an old clunker and don’t want to deal with the hassle of selling it? Drop it off at Goodwill and walk away with a tax deduction. In addition to cars, we also accept trucks, vans, RVs, boats, and even airplanes! The best part is, your donation helps fund job preparation which helps individuals in our community become self-sufficient. That’s right—we’ll take that car off your hands, you’ll get a tax deduction, and you help us place individuals in jobs within our community! It’s a win-win!
Have a car donation? Find more information here.
If you have a vehicle to donate, call us at 855-500-RIDE. We’ll walk you through the process and let you know where to drop it off. It’s that easy.
Every time you donate to Goodwill, you’ll receive a receipt acknowledging the date we received your donation. Keep this receipt, and refer to our estimated donation values page as a general guide when assessing the value to claim on your tax return. Goodwill cannot assign a tax value for you.
*As of May 1, 2016, Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is no longer accepting CRT Box TVs or TVs more than 5 years old. Plasma/LCD/LED TVs are still accepted. We thank you for your understanding.NOTE: The Internal Revenue Service recently released two publications on car donations, addressing what individuals and charities need to know when giving or receiving donated vehicles. Publication 4302, A Charity’s Guide to Car Donations (PDF), addresses issues that charities should know when operating a car donation program. Publication 4303, A Donor’s Guide to Car Donations (PDF), targets individuals who decide to hand over their cars. Read more. The publications were released less than a week after the U.S. Senate Finance Committee held a hearing on the governance of nonprofit entities, during which testimony was given on how an auto auction operates.
