Hey guys! My name is Sara. I am a lifestyle and mental health blogger, previously a portrait photographer! My journey started during a difficult time in my life where I was searching for passion and purpose and the love of thrifting and photography has helped me to start this dream job of mine! Even though I’ve been thrifting most of my life, my passion to model my fashion looks have truly flourished over the last year! It has been such a blessing to not only express my unique style in a creative way but also to use this as my journey to self-love and helping others to find their self-love.

I would definitely describe my style as very eclectic. I love sporting different looks for different days, and I love mixing things up with loud patterns and fun stylings. One day I feel like going for a more edgy look, while other days I like to express my feminine, girly side!

Outfit #1:

This outfit was heavily influenced by summer bohemian vibes! I paired this white, lace, off-the-shoulder top with these patterned drawstring bottoms, almost pajama like, which is very in right now, and not to mention comfortable! I thought this was the perfect summery outfit to lay by the pool with, soaking up the beautiful Arizona sun! Comfy and cute is a favorite of mine!

Outfit #2:

If you’re a ’90s baby like me, you have a special place in your heart for fashion influenced by the ’90s and early 2000s. This outfit was so fun for me and brought me right back to my childhood! Not to mention, the hat I found is actually Limited Too, so I’m really serving some ’90s and 2000s realness! I found this cute Forever 21, slightly cropped, off-the-shoulder, bell sleeve, cold shoulder top that I just knew would go perfectly with this leopard print vest! I have been obsessed with animal print for the spring and summer and this just fueled my obsession perfectly! I decided to go for some pattern mixing with these striped flare pants that I actually found in a size much smaller than my own! I’m normally a 2X-3X in bottoms, but I found these in the 13/14, and they fit wonderfully! Always a great tip to try on clothing if it seems possible with the given material!

Outfit #3:

This is probably my favorite outfit of the whole bunch. Edgy mixed with feminine and glam is my favorite style to shoot for, and this one hit the nail on the head! Again, following the trend of my obsession with animal print, I found this cheetah print maxi skirt that I turned into a midi skirt! I just couldn’t pass up an opportunity to show off these amazing heels! I love the detail of the glitter heel with the maroon crushed velvet body, making this heel the perfect accessory to this look! The top tied in perfectly with the heel, and the hat was the perfect finishing touch to this edgy, glam outfit!

Outfit #4:

I fell in love with this outfit the more I wore it! I felt so powerful in this animal print lined blazer, the perfect touch to spice things up! I love the cut of this blazer, it is so flattering to the figure and makes you feel like a boss babe! And guess what?! This blazer actually has shoulder pads!! While I usually stay away from the shoulder pads because it can make me look a little boxy, this actually added the perfect definition for this look! Pair this with black pants and a black bootie and you are ready to take on the town!

Outfit #5:

While my other looks have been more eclectic with fun patterns and unique styling, I wanted to show my fun, flirty, feminine side, as well! I thought this outfit would be perfect for a romantic date night out on the town! I love the gem details on this tank top and the cream color paired perfectly with this navy blue midi skirt that is to die for! The mesh panels on the bottom truly sold me on this skirt, I felt so feminine and pretty! To tie it all together, I paired it with these striped, open toe heels that I found at Goodwill a few months ago! This is was perfect outfit to pair them with and I couldn’t have asked for a better pairing!

Some of my favorite tips that I could give when shopping at Goodwill is to not limit yourself! Keep an open mind and allow yourself to try things you’ve never tried before! You could be surprised how well things might just work out. And, always keep in mind what you already have in your wardrobe! I knew I had these heels back home that would pair perfectly with my last outfit, and I kept that in mind while spotting these items. Having an end goal in mind when looking at items is the key to styling! After trying on the cheetah print skirt, I knew I had to transform it into a midi skirt to better fit my body and allow me to show off the cute heels I found!
